The future of creativity is in the hands of those
who are willing to participate…

Raising Artists has developed a creative process that will inspire the child to imagine, build, invent

and explore self-expression through the arts and education.

What Do We Do?

Raising Artists promotes meaningful artistic experiences that encourage creativity and allows the child to follow their imaginations, passions, creative purpose, and explore self-expression. We contribute to the cognitive, social, and emotional well being of your child, while providing a profound opportunity for learning and creativity. Our unique creative process inspires the child to imagine, build, invent and explore self-expression throughout the arts. The philosophy we live by is constructed on the positive relationship between the parent, the child, and the Art Educator. We foster the bond at the heart of curiosity, education, early learning, and child development.

Who is it for?

The Child. The Parents. Teachers.
Our educational institutions. Seniors. The community, and those who dare to invite creativity into their lives.

Remember when our community explores art ideas, they are testing possibilities and working through challenges, much like a scientist who experiments, and finds solutions. The Art Workshops that we conduct allows children to make their own assessments, while also teaching them that a problem may have more than one answer. Instead of following specific rules or directions, the child’s brain becomes engaged in the discovery of “how” and “why.”

Why Participate?

We are not just teaching your child to craft, paint and some art history, we are also teaching your child how to think. We are helping them learn to channel their feelings, take pride in their strengths, and to have the confidence to use their voice. We are also teaching your child to understand techniques of problem solving, the basic functions of engineering, how to critically think, to practice the skill of patience, to think outside of the box, how to adapt their thinking in order to allow for the flow of the unknown and so much more… Our unique model incorporates the inquiry-based learning model and The Reggio Emilia Approach, through our innovative student and family centred curriculums in Visual Arts education.
