Birthday Party
How early do you come to set up for the birthday party?
We arrive 30 minutes before the party. If we need additional time we will let you know in advanced and arrange it with the host.
How long is the birthday party?
1 hour.
What do you require from the host?
A table, chairs, and a sink.
Do you bring table cloths to the party?
Yes!

Do you charge a Travel Fee?
Yes we do, we charge anywhere between $10 -$30 ( in GTA ) will be applied/included under the automobile allowance rates for 2022/2023 for all off site and mobile workshops.
How many people do you send to conduct the Birthday Party?
A minimum of 2 Rockstar Teachers.
What are the qualifications of your staff?
All our staff have professional training, experience and Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, Visual Arts, and/or Art History.
Do all your staff have Vulnerable Sector Checks?
Yes, all staff must obtain a background check in order to teach, volunteer or work at Raising Artists.

What is your payment policy?
- We require a $100 deposit, a minimum of two-three weeks before the party in order to reserve your date, time-slot, and materials.
- Final payments can be made 7 business days before of the birthday party.
- Changes or cancellations 72 hour notice by phone or email for 50% of your deposits back.
- Travel fee will apply.

How early do you arrive for a School Work?
We arrive 1 hour – 45 minutes before the School Workshop. If we need additional time we will let you know in advanced and arrange it with the Teacher.
How long is the School Workshop?
Anywhere between 1 – 2 hours. It depends on the attention spans, the age and grade of the student.
What do you require from the host?
A table, access to a sink, access to a projector.
What if there is a topic/artist I am looking for that isn’t on your subject list?
We have been developing and designing curriculum for 9 years, we are happy to work with you and create a specific lesson around an artists you are deeply attached to.
Do you bring placemats/covers for the tables?
Yes!
What is your payment policy?
Payments will need to be payed upon entering the school, before the School Workshop begins. Travel fee will apply if located outside of the GTA.

Where is your studio located?

If my child is 3 year old can they register for the 4 – 6 year old Studio Workshop:
We strongly advise against it. We set a realistic expectation for your child, and are looking for them to hit a creative milestones and goals, this is why we bunch children in particular age groups, in order to ensure success. If your child is not the required age when they start their art program, please register them for the correct age group.
Do you have aprons for my child?
Yes we do, however please dress for mess – this is an art class and children will be getting paint on their clothings, we are not responsible for any damage to child’s clothing.
How long is the Workshop?
1 Hour
How early can I drop off my child?
You may arrive on premises 10 minutes before class starts, however studio doors will open 5 minutes before the class.
What if I’m late to drop off or pick up?
Please do your best not to be late, we like everyone to start at the same time, and it disrupts the flow of the class. However we understand life happens – If you are going to be late to pick up or drop off your child, please call us at (647) 427-0920, we are in back to back classes and will not have access to emails.
Refund Policy
1. Refunds are available in full 5 business days before the start of the first class, minus a $15 administration fee.
2. For a full term withdrawal is allowed before the start of the second class, minus a $50 administration fee.
3. Withdrawals after the start of the second class are non-refundable.
4. No refunds if you do not show up for your class.
What if my child leaves their water bottle at the Studio?
If clothing or a water bottle is left in the studio, and not claimed, due to the high volume of children who come through our studio, we will only hold a left article for two weeks.
Should I pack my child a snack?
Due to the amount of allergies that have surfaced with children in the last few years, we encourage you to please not pack snacks, however water bottles with a lid is fine.
If my child will be away, what do I do?

Mobile Workshops
How do I book a Mobile Workshop?

Do I stay and participate with my child?
This is completely up to you!
How long is the Mobile Workshops?
1 hour.
How many weeks are the Mobile Workshops?
Workshops are booked in 4, 6, or 8 week intervals.

Tell me about payment?
We will provided you with an invoice/breakdown of the payment each member in your group must pay, however in the end we require 1 bulk payment of the total amount.Payments must also be made upon booking the Mobile Workshops, in order to insure your time slot.
Are all art supplies provided?
Yes! We provide all the necessary materials (including tarps for your floors). Our diligent staff cleans up and packs all supplies, so you and your child can focus on learning and creating.
Where do I host the Workshop?
All Mobile Workshops will be held outdoor in the summer months. In case of rain, we will cancel the workshop or move the workshop inside ( that is to your discretion ).
Tell me about cancelation.
Only in the instant of cancelation by our Team, will that workshop will be attached to the end of the session. In other circumstances, changes or cancellations need 72 hour notice by phone or email.
