“Creating Innovators: It’s the making of young people who will change the world.”
– Tony Wagner, Harvard Professor
The Raising Artists team has developed an innovative and educational (virtual) visual arts program specifically for junior and primary students across the GTA.
Our virtual classroom workshops use visual arts to help students develop self-awareness, critical thinking, visual literacy, and problem-solving skills. Each virtual school workshop is a 60 – 90 minute interactive live online (zoom) class with an art teacher!
Teachers and Educators can choose from a wide variety of classroom workshops:
- Helen Frankenthaler + Abstract Art
- Vincent Van Gogh + The Starry Night
- Wassily Kandinsky, Lines + Flowers
- Andy Warhol + Pop Art
- Pablo Picasso + Cubism
- Pablo Picasso + Mental Health
Students will learn about art history and elements and principles of design as they work on various forms, styles, conventions, and techniques to create their art piece. Students are encouraged to set goals and reflect on their work throughout the lesson.
Our amazing team takes care of everything for you: the lesson, the instruction, and the supplies (delivery and curbside pickup available). The virtual school workshop fee is all inclusive, eliminating the need for extra invoicing and budget approvals.
