We are on a mission to inspire young minds and nurture creativity in the most dynamic way possible. How can this be done, you ask? Through a variety of engaging on-site workshops, we empower students to release their creativity onto a canvas! Engaging school workshops that infuse the magic of visual arts onto a canvas, into the classroom. Raising Artists is a mobile art company, and we step right into your classroom, and our Art Teachers will enter your classrooms, creating memorable learning experiences for students – all at their desks! These workshops are more than just art classes; they are a gateway to self-awareness, social-emotional skills, critical thinking, visual literacy, and problem-solving.
The Artistic Adventure Begins:
Every school workshop is a half-day extravaganza, and at the helm, you’ll find not one, but two highly qualified art teachers. They are ready to guide young budding artists on their creative journeys. Raising Artists offers a series of diverse workshops from which educators can choose. Our company caters to a variety of interests and aspirations! Each session ends with a completed work of art which students can proudly display or share at home.

With nearly a decade of experience in both developing and designing arts-based curriculum, Raising Artists is passionate about creating exceptional and individualized learning experiences for your students. Do you have a particular artist whose style you would like to introduce to your class? We will be more than happy to tailor a unique art lesson for them.
Discovering the Artistic Universe:
In our workshops, students don’t just create art; they explore the vast realm of Art History and dive into the elements and principles of design. As they work on various forms, styles, conventions, and techniques, they embark on a journey of self-discovery. Setting goals and reflecting on their progress are integral components of the creative process. Our learning goals and success criteria are thoughtfully drawn from the Ontario Art Curriculum, ensuring an enriching educational experience.
Your Journey, Our Responsibility:
At Raising Artists, we understand the demands that are placed on teachers and schools. This is why our dedicated team will organize every aspect of your classroom experience. From preparing the lesson plan to providing presenters who share engaging virtual presentations along with supporting worksheets and materials, creating engaging PowerPoint presentations, preparing worksheets, and supplying all the necessary materials, we’ve got it covered. The school workshop fee is designed to be included, eliminating the hassle of additional invoices and budget approvals. And, yes, we are board-approved vendors!
