“To create one’s world in any of the arts takes courage.” – Georgia O’Keeffe
I just finished ‘Georgia O’Keeffe: A Life,’ a brisk 420-page read. In the last few days I’ve been really thinking about Georgia and how her balancing act between the demands of love and work led to remarkable achievements. Moreover, considering the challenges faced by a female artist in 1916, I began pondering how I could leverage what I learned from Georgia to enrich my own craft, in balance with running my business, my masters, marriage, and other life’s demands.
